Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our agile development team. As a Scrum Master, you will play a key role in facilitating the adoption and effective practice of Agile methodologies, primarily Scrum. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered efficiently and in alignment with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Guide and coach teams in the Agile/Scrum framework, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles.
- Organize and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Work closely with Product Owners to prioritize backlog items and ensure the development team’s understanding of requirements.
- Remove impediments and facilitate the resolution of issues to enable the team to deliver high-quality software.
- Track and report team progress using Agile metrics and reporting tools.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing process improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or similar Agile certification is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile software development environment.
- Strong understanding of Scrum, Agile principles, and various Agile methodologies.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Proficient in facilitating and coaching Agile/Scrum practices.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with software development projects and Agile tools such as JIRA.
- Knowledge of other Agile methodologies (e.g., Kanban, Lean) and their application.
